Saravanan Thiyagarajan is the Founder of the Papanasam Sabarimala Ayyappan Temple, envisioned as a sacred spiritual space dedicated to devotion, discipline, inner transformation, and service to humanity.

A passionate devotee of Lord Shiva and Lord Ayyappa, he believes spirituality is the foundation for creating a peaceful, value-based, and compassionate society.

Inspired by his continuous Sabarimala pilgrimage since 2004, his vision is to bring the divine essence and spiritual discipline of Sabarimala closer to society, especially to younger generations.

Through this temple, he aspires to promote unity, dharmic living, self-awareness, annadhanam, and spiritual awakening beyond all social differences.

For him, this temple is not merely a place of worship, but a movement to inspire humanity through spirituality, simplicity, and service.

Secretary

Santhosh Ganesan is a dedicated professional and community leader from Papanasam, actively contributing to business, public service, and local politics. Education Santhosh holds an MBA from SASTRA University, equipping him with strong business acumen and management skills.

Professional Roles He works as an businessman and serves as a PWD contractor handling infrastructure projects. Community Service As a member of the Achayam Lion Club, Santhosh focuses on serving people around Papanasam through various welfare initiatives.

Political Involvement He belongs to the DMK party, where he holds the designation of ward secretary, advocating for local development and governance.

Ms. Suganya Kalyanam

Treasurer

Ms. Suganya Kalyanam serves as the Treasurer of the Sri Ayyappan Alaya Trust, contributing her professional expertise and unwavering commitment to the Trust’s spiritual and charitable mission. She holds a B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) and an MBA in Finance. She began her career with IBM, Bengaluru, and is currently working with Accenture.

A devoted worshipper of Sri Prathyangira Devi, Ms. Suganya was inspired to join this noble initiative after learning the vision of establishing Papanasam Sri Sabarimalai Ayyappan Alayam. Her inspiration is deeply personal, as her own parents were unable to undertake the pilgrimage to Sabarimala due to various circumstances. This strengthened her resolve to help create a sacred place where devotees can experience the divine blessings of Lord Ayyappa.

As Treasurer, she is committed to ensuring transparency, accountability, and the responsible management of the Trust’s resources while supporting its long-term vision of spirituality, service, and community welfare.

She is a proud mother of two children and believes that faith, integrity, and selfless service are the foundation of a meaningful life.

Mr.S.Senthilkumar

Trustee

Mr. S. Senthilkumar is a committed social worker, ardent devotee of Lord Ayyappa, and Trustee of the Papanasam Sri Sabarimala Ayyappan Alayam.

With a technical background in ITI, Mr. Senthilkumar spent nearly a decade building his professional career in Chennai and Nashik. However, his deep-rooted desire to contribute to the development and well-being of his native place inspired him to leave his professional career and return to Papanasam. Driven by a strong sense of social responsibility, he became actively involved in public and community service. He subsequently joined the DMK as a cadre and participated in various social initiatives alongside other leaders, consistently focusing on the needs and welfare of the local community.

Currently, he works as an assistant in a writer's office associated with the Sub-Registrar Office in Papanasam, while continuing his involvement in spiritual and social service.An ardent devotee of Lord Ayyappa, Mr. Senthilkumar undertakes the sacred pilgrimage to Sabarimala regularly, including monthly visits. His devotion has shaped a larger vision: to support devotees who sincerely wish to experience the blessings and spiritual atmosphere of Sabarimala but are unable to undertake the pilgrimage frequently due to personal, financial, physical, or other circumstances.It was this shared spiritual vision that inspired him to join hands with the Founder, Mr. Saravanan Thiyagarajan, in the establishment and development of Papanasam Sri Sabarimala Ayyappan Alayam—with the aspiration of bringing the spirit, devotion, discipline, and divine experience associated with Sabarimala closer to the people of Papanasam and surrounding communities.

As a Trustee, his vision extends beyond the development of the temple. He aspires to create a spiritual platform where devotion leads to compassion and compassion leads to service, particularly supporting those who need a helping hand.

His philosophy of life can be expressed simply yet powerfully:
“Live and Let Others Live.”

For Mr. Senthilkumar, true devotion to Lord Ayyappa finds its highest expression not only in pilgrimage and worship, but also in serving people with humility, compassion, and selflessness.

Mr. Suriya Prakash is one of the most active and dedicated trustees of the Sri Ayyappan Alaya Trust. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and has built a successful professional career by serving in various capacities with leading multinational companies in Chennai.

A passionate entrepreneur, Mr. Suriya Prakash manages multiple business ventures while also excelling in his primary role as a software engineer. His strong leadership skills, professional expertise, and entrepreneurial spirit have enabled him to contribute meaningfully to both the corporate and business sectors.

Deeply rooted in spirituality, he is a devoted follower of Lord Muruga and firmly believes in serving society through faith and selfless action. A loving family man and proud father of two children, he balances his personal, professional, and spiritual commitments with remarkable dedication.

Inspired by his devotion and commitment to community service, Mr. Suriya Prakash voluntarily joined the Sri Ayyappan Alaya Trust. As an active trustee, he plays a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the temple, coordinating religious events, supporting developmental initiatives, and ensuring the smooth conduct of temple activities. His tireless efforts, sincerity, and devotion continue to strengthen the Trust's mission of serving devotees and preserving spiritual values.

Mr. Gjesh S serves as a Trustee of the Papanasam Sri Sabarimalai Ayyappan Alayam and is currently pursuing his B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology

A young individual with a quiet and thoughtful personality, Mr. Gjesh strongly believes that true fulfilment comes from serving society with faith, humility, dedication, and responsibility. As a Trustee, he actively contributes to the temple’s spiritual, cultural, and community-oriented initiatives, with a sincere commitment to preserving its values and strengthening its service to society.

Beyond his spiritual interests, he is also a passionate and accomplished football player. His involvement in sports has nurtured in him the values of discipline, perseverance, teamwork, and determination—qualities that complement his commitment to social and spiritual service.

Though naturally introverted, he carries within him a strong aspiration to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. He believes that spirituality and education together can shape responsible individuals and build a more compassionate and united society.
